Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of hantesflorenia.ch and any purchase from Hantes Florenia, a jewellery house in Geneva, Switzerland. By using the site, or by placing an order, you accept them. If you do not, please leave the site.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

The site is published in English and in French. The language follows the address you open — French pages live under /fr/ — and is not stored in a cookie. These terms, the privacy notice and the cookie notice form one set.

The house may update them. The date at the top of the page is the date of the version in force. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the new text.

2. USE OF THE SITE

You may browse the site and, if you wish, open an account, for your own private use. An account is personal. You are responsible for the password and for what is done with it.

Do not interfere with the site, probe it, or collect its contents by automated means. While the house is in a private preview, entry may depend on a code. That code is not transferable. A request for access to a later release is sent from a signed-in account; the house is free to accept or decline it.

3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The name Hantes Florenia, the monogram, the photographs, the texts and the designs of the pieces belong to the house or to its licensors. You may not copy them, use them commercially, or frame the site, without written permission.

4. PURCHASES & LIMITED EDITIONS

Each release is finite. Pieces are numbered. Once a number is engraved and the register of that release is closed, it is not opened again, and the piece is not remade. The pieces offered are in 18k yellow gold, made in Geneva, and worn on a cord chosen from the colorways on the page.

Prices are set in Swiss francs. Amounts shown in euro, US dollar or pound sterling are a guide only, converted from a public exchange rate. They are not the sum charged. The currency you pick is remembered in your browser so the pages stay in that currency. The invoice remains in Swiss francs.

Payment is by bank transfer. With the order you receive a Swiss QR-bill and a reference that belongs to that order alone. The house does not take card numbers on this site. The sale is confirmed when the transfer matching that reference is received and the piece can be allocated. If it cannot, the house writes to you and does not keep a payment for a piece it cannot deliver. The delivery address you give is the address the piece is sent to.

Payment is due within 10 days of receiving the payment instructions. After that date the reservation expires and the order is cancelled. A payment that reaches the house after the deadline is refunded in full, by bank transfer, to the account it came from. Transfer fees are borne by the beneficiary, and the house is not responsible for any exchange-rate (FX) fluctuation. Once the refund has been made and its confirmation sent, the house bears no further responsibility for that payment; on request, it provides only the bank’s proof of payment.

Where the law of your country gives you a mandatory right — including, where it applies, a right of withdrawal — these terms do not take it away. A numbered piece finished on the cord you chose may fall outside a right of withdrawal. That is a question for the law that applies to your order, not a waiver written here.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The house takes care of the site. It does not promise that the site will be uninterrupted or free of error. Indicative prices in a foreign currency can move between two visits.

To the extent Swiss law allows, the house is not liable for indirect loss, nor for a loss caused by an interruption of the site or by a third-party service. This limit does not apply in a case of unlawful intent or gross negligence, and it does not affect a right that cannot be excluded.

6. GOVERNING LAW — SWITZERLAND

These terms are governed by Swiss law. The courts of Geneva have jurisdiction, subject to any forum you cannot be deprived of as a consumer.
